'Sakaraltı Sakarüstü' Operation in Muğla: Former Provincial Chairman and Advisor Detained

Second Wave of Operation Across Five Districts Teams from the Muğla Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crime and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) branches have deepened their investigation into social media posts targeting public officials.
As part of the investigation conducted through the account named 'Sakaraltı Sakarüstü', simultaneous raids were carried out at designated addresses in the Menteşe, Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, and Seydikemer districts.
Political Figures and Advisors Detained In the second phase of the operation, eight suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
Among those detained are O.A., a former provincial chairman of a political party, and M.C.G., an advisor to a member of parliament.
The other suspects—identified as S.Ö.Ü., H.T., U.K., M.T., S.C.S., and H.B.—were reported to be individuals who previously had judicial control or house arrest orders against them.
Digital Materials Sent to Criminal Lab While the processing of the suspects at the police station continues, nine mobile phones were seized during a search at one of the suspects' residences.
All confiscated digital materials have been sent to the criminal laboratory for content analysis.
In the first stage of the investigation, two of the eight people initially detained were arrested, while judicial control and house arrest orders were issued for the others.
