Major Development in Neslim Güngen and İnanç Güngen Case: All Defendants Released

Defendants appeared before a judge facing extensive charges as part of an investigation into alleged crimes committed through companies operating under the "Neslim" brand.
The indictment charges the defendants with seven distinct crimes, including establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, laundering assets derived from crime, violations of the Tax Procedure Law, forgery of official documents, and bribery.
Prosecutors are seeking prison sentences of up to 154 years for the defendants.
Court Decision: No Detained Defendants Remain The hearing, conducted by the Küçükçekmece 6th High Criminal Court at the Marmara Prison Complex, was attended by both detained and non-detained defendants along with their legal representatives.
Following the completion of the defense statements, the court panel announced its interim decision, ruling for the release of the final six defendants who were still in custody.
With this decision, no defendants remain in prison within the scope of the case.
The court imposed judicial control measures on the released individuals in the form of a "ban on traveling abroad." Legal Process Continues During the hearing, defense lawyers argued for their clients' innocence and requested their release.
