Sector's Share in GDP Rises to 6.5 Percent The Financial Institutions Association (FKB) has announced the 2025 data covering financial leasing, factoring, financing, asset management, and savings finance companies.
The total transaction volume of the non-bank finance sector reached 3.878 trillion lira, while the sector's share in the gross domestic product (GDP) rose to 6.5 percent.
The total asset size of the five main sectors under the association's umbrella was recorded at 1.725 trillion lira, with receivables at 1.224 trillion lira and equity at 343 billion lira.
The sector serves a total of 6.822 million customers through 131 companies, 1,208 branches, and 19,367 employees.
Record Increase in Savings Finance The most remarkable growth performance of 2025 took place in the savings finance sector.
The sector's transaction volume increased by 261.8 percent to 1.211 trillion lira, while its asset size rose by 251 percent to 323 billion lira.
These figures demonstrate that the strategic importance and weight of the savings finance model within the financial system have increased significantly.
Positive Outlook in Sub-Sectors An upward momentum in transaction volumes and asset sizes was also observed in other sub-sectors.
The factoring sector increased its transaction volume by 51.4 percent to 1.875 trillion lira and its asset size by 45 percent to 458 billion lira.
In the financial leasing segment, transaction volume reached 309 billion lira with a 69.6 percent increase, while asset size reached 536 billion lira with a 60.3 percent increase.
Financing companies increased their transaction volume by 67.4 percent to 483 billion lira and their asset size by 66.5 percent to 354 billion lira.
The asset size of asset management companies reached 54.5 billion lira, an increase of 63 percent.
