To stand out in the competition, banks are providing comprehensive financial solutions, including interest-free loan opportunities, discounted safe deposit box services, bill payment refunds, and credit card reward points in addition to cash promotions.
The highest cash promotion amount in the sector, which previously hovered around the 30,000 TL mark, has risen to 32,000 TL with recent updates.
However, the advantages offered to retirees now extend far beyond simple cash payments.
When combining the 25% discount on safe deposit box services, refunds of up to 6,000 TL for automatic bill payment orders, and interest-free cash advance options, the total campaign value reaches the 90,000 TL level.
Experts point out that the total campaign value, which was around 60,000 TL last month, has surged to 90,000 TL in a short period.
Expectations for New Increases in July "In line with inflation data and expected salary increases, we estimate that cash promotion amounts will exceed the 35,000 TL threshold after July." Experts emphasize that retirees should focus on the total benefit provided by all auxiliary services rather than just the cash amount when choosing a bank.
In the current landscape, the side benefits offered by banks to attract retired customers have become as decisive as the cash promotions themselves.
