Samsung to Launch Renewed Bixby with One UI 8.5 in Turkey on February 25

Advanced Natural Language Processing and Intuitive Control Samsung Electronics is fundamentally transforming its AI assistant, Bixby, with the One UI 8.5 update.
The new Bixby is capable of managing complex system settings and in-app operations through simple voice commands.
Instead of using technical terms, users can direct the assistant with everyday expressions such as "I don't want the screen to turn off while I'm looking at it." Additionally, the assistant can provide answers by performing contextual analysis for questions like "Why does my screen stay on while my phone is in my pocket?" and instantly suggest relevant solutions like "Accidental Touch Protection." Real-Time Information Access with Perplexity AI One of the most striking features of the update is the integration of Perplexity AI.
Through this collaboration, Bixby transcends the limits of traditional assistants by performing real-time internet searches.
Users will be able to access up-to-date information, hotel reservation options, or answers to complex queries directly through the assistant interface without needing to open a separate browser.
Global Distribution and Turkey Launch The next-generation Bixby will be released as part of One UI 8.5 in priority markets including Turkey, Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Samsung plans to gradually roll out this update to users in other regions in the future.
