In February, the confidence index rose by 2.9% in the retail trade sector and fell by 2.1% in the construction sector, while the service sector remained stable.

Service Sector Confidence Remains Stable According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the service sector confidence index remained unchanged in February compared to the previous month, staying at a value of 118.7.
When analyzing the sub-indices of the sector, the business situation over the last three months decreased by 0.8%, and the demand for services fell by 1.3%.
However, the demand expectation for services over the next three months recorded an increase of 2.1%.
Growth in Retail Trade Confidence The retail trade sector confidence index rose by 2.9% in February, reaching the 115.5 level.
In this sector, business volume and sales increased by 1.6% over the last three months, while current stock levels rose by 3.2%.
Optimism in the sector was further supported by a 4% increase in business volume and sales expectations for the next three months.
Decline in Construction Sector Metrics In the construction sector, the current level of registered orders decreased by 3.6%.
Additionally, the expectation for the total number of employees over the next three months saw a decline of 0.8%.
