Fake Account Details A fake Threads account bearing the name "Tran Hoang Ngan" was recently discovered.
The account claimed to represent Dr.
Ngan, a member of the Vietnamese National Assembly and chair of the Saigon University Breakthrough Developments Advisory Council, and posted his opinions on politics, economics, and social matters through official media channels such as Tuổi Tre newspaper.
Authorities' Response Security and information officials stated that they would take necessary measures to curb the spread of the fraudulent account and urged citizens to remain vigilant against false content.
They explained that the profile used Dr.
Ngan’s personal information and photographs to appear authentic.
