Electricity Consumption and Production Data According to data from the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ), Turkey's daily electricity production reached 863,426 megawatt-hours, while consumption was recorded at 855,949 megawatt-hours.
On an hourly basis, the highest electricity consumption occurred at 19:00 with 41,312 megawatt-hours, while the lowest consumption was recorded at 09:00 with 30,748 megawatt-hours.
Leading Sources of Generation Dammed hydroelectric power plants ranked first in production with a 25 percent share of the total output.
This source was followed by imported coal power plants, which accounted for 18.6 percent, and wind energy plants at 15 percent.
