Number of Foreign Visitors to Turkey Increases by 3.48% in January

The number of foreign visitors to the country in January recorded an increase of 3.48 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Most Visitors From Iran and Russia When examining the January data, Iran's leadership in the list of countries sending the most visitors to Turkey was noteworthy.
With 225,205 visitors, Iran accounted for 10.02 percent of total entries, ranking first.
Iran was closely followed by the Russian Federation with 220,160 visitors.
Other Leading Countries Other countries in the top five for visitor numbers were Bulgaria, Germany, and Georgia, respectively.
