According to Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye data, the manufacturing industry capacity utilization rate decreased to 74.0% on a seasonally adjusted basis and 73.5% on an unadjusted basis in February.

Monthly Decline in Capacity Utilization The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) has released the manufacturing industry capacity utilization rate (CUR) data for February.
According to the figures, the overall capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry recorded a decline compared to the previous month.
The unadjusted CUR decreased by 0.6 percentage points compared to January, falling to 73.5%.
Seasonally Adjusted Data The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate decreased by 0.4 percentage points on a monthly basis to 74.0%.
This rate, which was measured at 74.1% in January, continued its downward momentum as of February.
Outlook by Sector and Goods Groups An analysis by goods groups showed a limited increase in durable consumer goods, while the consumer goods group generally followed a flat course.
In contrast, capacity utilization rates moved downward in all other main groups, particularly in intermediate goods and investment goods.
This sectoral differentiation reflects the demand and production dynamics across the sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry.
