$100 Billion Trade Target Between Turkey and Russia: Minister Bolat and Novak Meet

Trade and Economic Cooperation Agenda Trade Minister Ömer Bolat received Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and his accompanying delegation.
The two officials, who serve as co-chairs of the Turkish-Russian Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission (KEK), discussed the current state of bilateral economic relations and future projections.
$100 Billion Trade Target The main agenda item of the meeting was the $100 billion trade volume target set by the leaders of both countries.
Minister Bolat emphasized the importance of strategic steps to be taken toward achieving this goal, stating that commercial relations must be strengthened on a sustainable basis.
Sustainable Cooperation and Agreement At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to strengthen economic ties between Turkey and Russia and to develop trade in a way that benefits both parties.
Minister Bolat stated in a post-meeting announcement that increasing the sustainability of commercial relations remains a top priority.
