Rainy Weather to Take Effect Across the Country According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, partly to mostly cloudy weather will prevail across Turkey starting February 24, 2026.
As temperatures drop, precipitation is expected to impact the Marmara, Northern Aegean, northern Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea, and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia regions.
Additionally, local showers are anticipated in the provinces of Çorum, Amasya, Batman, and Siirt.
Regions Expecting Snowfall While rain is forecast for Thrace and the Marmara region, snowfall is expected to be effective in higher elevations.
Specifically, snow is predicted to begin in the provinces of Bolu, Van, Hakkari, Bitlis, and Ağrı.
Authorities stated that the rainy weather will intensify and spread over a wider area tomorrow, with snowfall potentially reaching western provinces by Thursday.
