TUSAŞ to Replicate Kahramankazan Model in Kahramanmaraş: Aiming for a New Aviation Hub

Kahramanmaraş to Become a Hub for Aerospace Industry Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) CEO Mehmet Demiroğlu has announced that the company will implement an industrial model in Kahramanmaraş similar to the successful aerospace ecosystem established in Kahramankazan, Ankara.
Demiroğlu stated that with TUSAŞ's increasing presence in the region, Kahramanmaraş will gain strategic momentum in the fields of aviation and space technologies.
Investments to Expand Beyond the Türkoğlu Facility Referring to the investment process initiated to support regional development following the February 6 earthquakes, Demiroğlu emphasized that the current capacity will be increased.
Recalling that the facility established in the Türkoğlu district has already begun production, the CEO noted, "We established a facility in Türkoğlu, but this is a small investment relative to Maraş's potential.
We will implement massive investments here, similar to those in Kahramankazan." Regional Development and Global Integration The new industrial model aims to elevate Kahramanmaraş's industrial potential to aviation standards.
This transformation, led by TUSAŞ, is expected to increase skilled employment in the region and integrate local industrialists into the global aviation supply chain.
Demiroğlu indicated that this project will usher in a new era for Kahramanmaraş's industrial sector.
