Seven people have died following the crash of an ambulance plane belonging to Redbird Airways in India's Jharkhand state.
According to a statement from India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the Beechcraft C90 aircraft disappeared from radar shortly after taking off from Ranchi, the state capital.
Contact Lost 20 Minutes After Takeoff Communication with the aircraft was lost approximately 20 minutes after departure.
The plane was later located in the Chatra district.
Chatra District Commissioner Keerthishree G confirmed that everyone on board the aircraft perished in the accident.
Search and rescue teams reached the site and determined there were no survivors among the wreckage.
Victims and Investigation Authorities shared details regarding the identities of those on board.
In addition to the two pilots, the aircraft was carrying a 41-year-old patient with 63% body burns, two companions, a doctor, and a medical staff member.
Official authorities have launched an extensive technical investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
