Suspect's Statement and Arrest Following the incident, E.A.

In his statement, the suspect admitted to the attack, explaining that he acted out of anger when his ex-wife refused to reconcile.
"I expressed my desire to reconcile.
When she turned me down, I pulled the gun from my waist, pointed it at her head, and pulled the trigger.
However, the gun did not fire.
I regret it," the suspect reportedly stated during his interrogation.
