According to reports, E.A.
went to S.K.'s workplace and requested to speak with her.
The meeting quickly escalated into a heated argument after S.K.
stepped outside.
Mechanical Failure Prevents Tragedy As the argument intensified, E.A.
drew an unlicensed handgun and pointed it at S.K.'s head.
Investigations revealed that when the suspect pulled the trigger, the weapon failed to fire due to a mechanical jam.
Footage of the incident shows S.K.
and a nearby citizen intervening to stop the attacker, allowing the young woman to escape the scene unharmed.
Suspect's Statement and Arrest Following the incident, E.A.
was taken into custody by law enforcement and subsequently arrested by judicial authorities.
In his statement, the suspect admitted to the attack, explaining that he acted out of anger when his ex-wife refused to reconcile.
"I expressed my desire to reconcile.
When she turned me down, I pulled the gun from my waist, pointed it at her head, and pulled the trigger.
However, the gun did not fire.
I regret it," the suspect reportedly stated during his interrogation.
