Limited Retreat in BIST 100 Index The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul completed the first half of the day at 13,771.49 points, losing 0.24 percent compared to the previous close.
Sectoral Performance and Divergences When analyzing sector indices, the banking index gained 0.46 percent, while the holding index lost 1.33 percent.
The financial leasing and factoring sector rose the most by 2.92 percent in the first half, while the holding and investment trust sectors stood out with the highest declines.
Domestic Macroeconomic Data According to data from the economic administration, the Real Sector Confidence Index increased by 2.5 points in February compared to the previous month, reaching 104.1.
The unadjusted capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.6 points to 73.5 percent during the same period.
Additionally, Turkey's net international investment position deficit was announced as 324.9 billion dollars.
Global Markets and Technical Outlook Analysts stated that for the remainder of the day, an intensive data flow will be monitored, particularly the growth data and Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) to be announced in the United States.
From a technical perspective, the 13,600 and 13,500 point levels for the BIST 100 index are in support positions, while the 13,900 and 14,000 point levels act as resistance.
