Borsa Istanbul Market Overview The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul completed Monday, February 23, 2026, with a 0.92% gain, closing at a record level of 14,061.71 points.
Top Performing Stocks and Trading Volume The stocks with the highest gains of the day were SMART, TEHOL, and BRLSM, while ZGYO, ENSRI, and DOFRB were among the biggest losers.
In terms of trading volume, Turkish Airlines (THYAO) led the market with 18.6 billion TL.
It was followed by İş Bankası (ISCTR) with 14.2 billion TL and Akbank (AKBNK) with 12.1 billion TL.
Gold and Commodity Prices In the free market, quarter gold was traded at 11,980.69 TL, and Republic gold at 47,776.19 TL.
The price of gold per ounce was recorded at $5,198.35.
As of 18:30 TSI, Bitcoin was trading at $65,967.00, down 2.20%, while Ethereum fell 2.11% to $1,905.48.
In the energy sector, the price of Brent crude oil ended the day at $72.48 per barrel.
