The BIST 100 index closed the week with losses while gold prices and the US dollar saw increases; conversely, the euro and investment funds ended the week lower.

Weekly Market Performance: Gold Gains as Borsa Istanbul Declines

Weekly Performance at Borsa Istanbul Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul lost an average of 1.74 percent in value over the past week.
The BIST 100 index, which tested a low of 13,718.14 and a high of 14,532.67 during the week, completed the period at 13,934.06 points, marking a decrease compared to the previous close.
Gold Prices on the Rise The selling price of 24-carat gold bullion increased by 1.33 percent to reach 7,111 liras per gram.
Similarly, the Republic gold rose by 1.32 percent to 47,894 liras, while the quarter gold gained 1.33 percent in value, reaching 11,911 liras.
The US dollar closed the week with a limited increase of 0.07 percent at 43.7700 liras, while the euro lost 0.62 percent of its value, falling to 51.6060 liras.
Among other investment vehicles, investment funds experienced a loss of 0.51 percent this week, and pension funds decreased by 0.86 percent.
