Recovery Signals and Sectoral Outlook Ifo President Clemens Fuest emphasized that the German economy is showing signs of recovery.
Fuest stated that companies' satisfaction with their current business situation has increased and their expectations for the coming period have evolved positively.
In particular, the manufacturing sector signaling expansion for the first time since 2022 is considered a critical turning point for economic activity.
Risks and Future Projections Germany's economic future appears to depend on state investments in infrastructure and defense, as well as measures taken against global risks such as potential US tariffs and competition with Chinese manufacturers.
