Consultation Meeting with Digital Content Creators Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş met with leading content creators from the gaming world to evaluate the current situation and potential risks on digital platforms.
During the meeting, the effects of the digital ecosystem on children and the production of safe content were discussed in detail.
Supervision and Guidance Instead of Prohibition Minister Göktaş shared the Ministry's vision for ensuring that children spend time safely in digital spaces.
She emphasized that they want children to exist peacefully and safely on digital platforms, just as they do in every other area of life.
"In this context, we act with an understanding that guides and supervises rather than prohibits," Göktaş stated.
Aiming to Minimize Risks The meeting addressed concrete steps to be taken to minimize risks in the digital world.
The Ministry announced that it will continue to work in cooperation with content creators to build a safe digital environment suitable for children's development.
Through this collaboration, the goal is to reduce the negative impacts of digital content on child psychology and development.
