Minister Kacır: Turkey's Industrial Value Added Rises to $241 Billion

Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that Turkey's industrial value added has reached $241 billion and exports have hit $273 billion, while highlighting ongoing industrial investments in the earthquake-stricken region.

Strategic Growth in Industry and Exports Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır evaluated the progress Turkey has made in industry and production capacity over the last 23 years during his visit to Malatya.
Minister Kacır stated that Turkey's annual industrial value added has risen from $41 billion to $241 billion, while export figures have reached a historic record, climbing from $36 billion to $273 billion.
Reconstruction Process in the Earthquake Zone Referring to the work carried out following the February 6 earthquakes, Minister Kacır reminded that all state resources have been mobilized for the reconstruction of the region.
Stating that infrastructure and superstructure projects in Malatya are continuing with determination, Kacır noted that tens of thousands of houses and workplaces have been delivered to their rightful owners so far, and cities are being prepared for the future with a more resilient structure.
Production Areas and Financing Support Explaining that priority is given to industrial investments for the normalization of economic life in the region, Minister Kacır said that new industrial areas have been commissioned to revitalize production in Malatya.
Emphasizing that billions of liras in financing support have been provided to industrial projects, Kacır stated that these steps aim to permanently increase employment and production capacity in the region.
