Scope of the Investigation and Detentions A new phase has been reached in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau for the Prevention of Financing of Terrorism and Money Laundering Crimes.
Sixteen individuals detained in an operation targeting suspects alleged to have committed "obscenity" and "laundering proceeds of crime" by producing content on the platform—which is currently blocked in Turkey—were referred to the courthouse following the completion of their procedures at the police station.
Arrest Warrants and Fugitive Names As part of the investigation, arrest warrants have been issued for Zeynep Alkan (Alya Vural), Gizem Bağdaçiçek, and Merve Taşkın, who were determined to be abroad.
The processes by which the suspects integrated the income they earned through the platform into the legal financial system are being closely scrutinized.
Assets Seized Following technical and physical surveillance, assets worth millions of liras, which were determined to have been obtained through the platform and considered proceeds of crime, were seized.
Investigative units continue to examine the money traffic to determine the channels through which payments were integrated into the financial system.
The 16 suspects referred to the courthouse are expected to be brought before a duty judge following their statements to the prosecutor.
