The "Ramadan Village," established in both domestic and international terminals, blends traditional Turkish hospitality with the opportunities of the digital world.
These hybrid spaces aim to provide a rich cultural experience to passengers from more than 140 different nations.
Digital Applications and Virtual Reality Prepared with a focus on innovation, the festival features a "Digital Wish Tree" that transforms passengers' wishes into a visual feast, along with futuristic souvenir photo points.
Visitors have the opportunity to experience various concepts, including digital ebru (marbling) patterns, a Virtual Reality (VR) supported journey to the Moon, and the world of Karagöz and Hacivat.
Art Events and Workshops Live music performances featuring the ney, oud, and qanun are held throughout the terminal, while Hacivat-Karagöz shadow plays are performed weekly.
In addition to performances by calligraphy and ebru artists, art workshops open to passenger participation are organized.
Furthermore, a gift wheel held twice a week in the international departures section offers various surprises to travelers.
Special Areas for Children and Traditional Treats Numerous activities have been organized for families and children, including a nostalgic amusement park-themed carousel, trampoline areas, cartoon screenings, and sausage balloon events.
Throughout the festival, passengers are served traditional delicacies such as basil sherbet, Ottoman paste, cotton candy, and dates.
The "Ramadan Post Office," located in the International Departures area, allows passengers to send specially designed Ramadan cards to their loved ones, carrying cultural heritage into the future.
