As of the end of January, the company reached a fiber network length of 539,000 kilometers, significantly strengthening its mobile network infrastructure.
By connecting 60% of its existing base stations to the fiber network, the institution has already achieved the mobile fiberization rates projected globally for 2030.
5G Preparations and Strategic Transformation Türk Telekom CNO Zafer Orhan stated that the success of 5G technology depends on a high-capacity and sustainable infrastructure.
Highlighting the critical role of fiber in this process, Orhan emphasized that the end-to-end fiber network covering all 81 provinces is the guarantee for providing users with the most comprehensive experience in the 5G era.
