Gong Ceremony Held at Borsa Istanbul A bell-ringing ceremony was held at Borsa Istanbul to mark the start of trading for Ata Turizm İşletmecilik Taşımacılık Madencilik Kuyumculuk Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret AŞ.
The company's shares began trading under the ticker symbol "ATATR." The ceremony was attended by Borsa Istanbul General Manager Korkmaz Ergun, Dorak Holding and Ata Turizm Chairman Ahmet Serdar Körükcü, Chairman Ahmet Kaplan Tan, and Tera Yatırım CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener.
Sectoral Growth and Institutionalization Goals Speaking at the ceremony, Borsa Istanbul General Manager Korkmaz Ergun highlighted the critical importance of the tourism sector for employment and value-added contributions.
Ergun stated that the resources provided by capital markets represent a significant opportunity for the sector's sustainable growth.
Ergun noted that Ata Turizm will use the IPO proceeds to fund operational investments and strengthen its financial structure.
He also emphasized that being listed on the stock exchange is a major step in the company's journey toward institutionalization.
18 Billion Lira Demand from Investors Ahmet Serdar Körükcü, Chairman of Dorak Holding and Ata Turizm, noted the intense interest from investors during the IPO process.
He reported that the demand collected between February 11-13 reached six times the IPO amount, bringing the company's total number of new partners to 650,000.
Tera Yatırım CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener added that a strong demand of approximately 18 billion Turkish Liras was collected.
He expressed confidence that Ata Turizm would demonstrate strong performance on the stock exchange, driven by its vision and management's commitment.
