BIST 100 Index Closes Higher at Borsa Istanbul: 14,061 Points

Index Performance and Sectoral Movements The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul completed the day at 14,061.71 points, an increase of 127.66 points compared to the previous close.
Starting the day at 14,092.16 points, the index saw a daily low of 14,019.99 and a high of 14,190.09 points.
The BIST 30 index also rose, closing at 15,707.12 points with a 1.40% gain.
On a sectoral basis, the financial index increased by 1.66%, the industrial index by 1.64%, and the services index by 0.34%.
Conversely, the technology index diverged negatively, losing 0.77%.
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100, 68 gained value, 29 declined, and 3 remained unchanged.
Top Stocks and Trading Volume The most traded stocks of the day were Turkish Airlines (THY), Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Akbank, ASELSAN, and Ereğli Demir Çelik.
Investor interest was notably concentrated in banking and industrial-weighted shares.
Exchange Rates and Oil Prices The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) announced the effective exchange rate for the US dollar as 43.7236 TL for buying and 43.8988 TL for selling.
In global markets, London Brent crude oil is trading at $71.9 per barrel, marking a 1% increase.
