BIST 100 Index Closes First Half of the Day at 13,771 Points: Technology Stocks Diverge Positively

Sectoral Outlook in Borsa Istanbul The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul completed the first half of the day at 13,771.49 points, representing a 0.24% loss in value.
During the day, the index tested a low of 13,751.89 and a high of 13,914.32 points.
When analyzed on a sectoral basis, the technology index diverged positively with an increase of 1.27%.
In contrast, the services index fell by 0.05%, the industrial index by 0.22%, and the financial index by 0.45%.
Among the stocks included in the index, 48 gained value, 51 declined, and one remained flat.
Prominent Companies and Trading Volume The companies that stood out with the highest trading volume in the first half of the day were: Turkish Airlines (THY) ASELSAN Sasa Polyester Türkiye İş Bankası (C) Akbank Intense investor interest in these stocks ensured that a large portion of market liquidity was concentrated in these securities.
Latest Status in Bond and Commodity Markets In the Bond and Bill Market's Outright Purchases and Sales Market, the simple yield for the benchmark bond maturing on July 14, 2027, was recorded at 33.79%, while the compound yield stood at 36.64% for today's value-dated transactions.
In global markets, the price of gold per ounce rose by 0.5% to $5,028.
On the energy side, the price per barrel of London Brent crude oil decreased by 0.9% to $70.9.
