In the first half of the day, the index rose by 143.87 points compared to the previous close, reaching 14,077.93 points.
After closing Friday at 13,934.06 points, the BIST 100 began the new week at 14,092.16 points with an increase of 1.13 percent.
During the first part of the session, the index tested a low of 14,044.38 and a high of 14,190.09 points.
Driven by investor interest, the financial index gained 1.82 percent, the industrial index rose by 1.41 percent, the services index increased by 0.86 percent, and the technology index grew by 0.22 percent.
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, 83 rose, 16 declined, and one remained flat.
The most traded stocks in the market were listed as Turkish Airlines, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), ASELSAN, Akbank, and Astor Enerji.
Global Market Status In global markets, the price of an ounce of gold was trading at $5,150 with a 1 percent increase, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil stabilized at $71.1 with a 0.2 percent decrease.
