BIST 100 Index Surpasses 14,000 Point Threshold in Borsa Istanbul

Testing a low of 14,044.38 and a high of 14,190.09 during the day, the index maintained its position above the 14,000-point threshold with widespread buying interest.
In a market where the total trading volume reached 93.5 billion lira, 83 stocks within the BIST 100 gained value, while 16 declined and one remained unchanged.
Sectoral Performance and Trading Volume The banking index led the market higher with a 2.25 percent increase in the first half of the day, while the holding index experienced a limited loss of 0.17 percent.
Among sector indices, financial leasing and factoring exhibited the strongest performance with a 7.24 percent surge.
The industrial index gained 1.41 percent, the financial index rose 1.82 percent, and the technology index increased by 0.22 percent.

In technical analysis, the 14,200 and 14,300 levels stand out as resistance for the BIST 100 index, while the 14,000 and 13,900 point levels serve as support points.
On the commodities side, an ounce of gold was traded at 5,150 dollars, while Brent oil stabilized at around 71.1 dollars.
In the bond market, the compound yield of the benchmark bond maturing on July 14, 2027, was 36.08 percent.
