The index closed at 14,061.71 points, representing a 0.92% gain.
Starting the day at 14,092.16 points, the BIST 100 tested a low of 14,019.99 and a high of 14,190.09 during the session.
Meanwhile, the BIST 30 index rose by 1.40% to reach 15,707.12 points.
Sectoral Performance and Trading Volume Analyzing sector indices, the financial index gained 1.66%, the industrial index rose by 1.64%, and the services index increased by 0.34%.
Among the stocks within the BIST 100, 68 advanced, 29 declined, and 3 remained unchanged.
The most traded companies of the day were recorded as Turkish Airlines (THY), Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Akbank, ASELSAN, and Ereğli Demir Çelik.

The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul closed the day at 14,061.71 points, gaining 0.92%. While financial and industrial indices led the gains, the technology index diverged negatively.
