Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 Index Starts the Day with a Rise: 14,261 Points

At the opening, the index increased by 0.23% compared to the previous close, reaching 14,261 points.
Having completed the previous trading day at 14,227 points, the index's positive start to the new day pushed its monthly return rate above 10%.
Sectoral Movements and Previous Day Data In yesterday's transactions, the BIST 100 index tested an intraday high of 14,339 points before closing the day on a negative note due to selling pressure.
As the new trading day began, an analysis of sector indices showed that the financial leasing and factoring sector performed best with a 7.60% increase.
Conversely, the main metal industry recorded the largest decline, falling by 1.89%.
