Index Performance and Trading Volume The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul completed the first half of the day with a 0.24% decrease, closing at 13,771.49 points.
During the session, the index saw a low of 13,751.89 and a high of 13,914.32 points, with a total trading volume recorded at 76.4 billion lira.
Among the stocks included in the index, 48 gained value, 51 declined, and one remained unchanged.
Sectoral Performance and Leading Stocks In the first half of the day, the banking index rose by 0.46%, while the holding index lost 1.33%.
Among sectoral indices, financial leasing and factoring saw the highest increase at 2.92%, whereas the holding and investment trust sectors recorded the most significant declines.
The technology index rose by 1.27%, while services fell by 0.05%, industry by 0.22%, and the financial index by 0.45%.
The most traded stocks of the day were: Turkish Airlines (THY) ASELSAN Sasa Polyester Türkiye İş Bankası (C) Akbank Economic Data and Technical Outlook According to domestic data, Turkey's net International Investment Position (IIP) was determined to be minus $324.9 billion as of the fourth quarter of 2025.
The Real Sector Confidence Index rose by 2.5 points in February to 104.1, while the capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.6 points to 73.5%.
Analysts noted that U.S.
growth data and Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) data will be closely monitored for the remainder of the day.
Technically, the BIST 100 index has support levels at 13,600 and 13,500 points, with resistance levels at 13,900 and 14,000 points.
Global Markets and Commodities In international markets, the price of gold per ounce rose by 0.5% to $5,028, while the price of London Brent crude oil fell by 0.9% to $70.9 per barrel.
In the Bond and Bill Market, the compound yield of the benchmark bond maturing on July 14, 2027, stood at 36.64%.
