Weekly Performance of the BIST 100 Index The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul closed the week at 13,934.06 points, representing a weekly decline of 1.74 percent.
Throughout the week, the index followed a volatile course, reaching a low of 13,718.14 points and a high of 14,532.67 points.
Changes in Sectoral Indices Significant divergences were observed among sector indices throughout the week.
The technology index rose by 3.20 percent to 37,463.35 points, becoming one of the few sectors to close the week with gains.
In contrast, the services index fell by 3.08 percent to 12,420.26 points, the industrial index decreased by 2.60 percent to 16,858.46 points, and the financial index declined by 1.17 percent to 19,532.75 points.
Prominent Stocks and Market Value Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ provided the highest return with an increase of 35.64 percent.
The stocks that lost the most value during the week were Qua Granite Hayal Yapı ve Ürünleri with a 14.16 percent decline and Ral Yatırım Holding with a 13.51 percent drop.
Aselsan maintained its position at the top of Borsa Istanbul in terms of total market value, reaching 1 trillion 428 billion 420 million Turkish Liras.
The company continues to lead in terms of market size.
