About the Academy The New Media Academy, established by Arnavutköy Municipality in partnership with Ibn Haldun University, merges theoretical knowledge with practical studio experience to produce 319 graduates.
Mission and Goals The academy was created to provide qualified education that meets the needs of the digital world and the communication sector, combining academic knowledge, field experience, and professional technical infrastructure to equip young people and vocational high‑school students with new media skills.
Practical Studio Training Courses are delivered in a professional studio environment, supported by studio shoots, sound recording, and editing workshops.
Students from local vocational high schools also attend some classes in the academy’s technical facilities.
Graduates and Program Diversity In its first two terms, the academy graduated a total of 319 students—150 in the first term and 169 in the second—designed to prepare graduates for the current industry demands.
Summer Program and Industry Partnerships After the first two terms, a four‑week summer program was launched, allowing participants to transform theoretical knowledge into practical projects and gain experience in platform‑based content production.
Training programs were further strengthened through industry collaborations.
International Recognition The academy received the Golden World Awards for Excellence from the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), demonstrating its acceptance on both local and global scales.
Future Plans Preparations are underway for the third term, set to begin in October, with continued current programs and the admission of new students.
