Rapid Investment Process TimWeb, a blockchain-based platform developed for journalists and content creators, achieved a significant milestone by reaching its investment goals in just 15 days.
Focusing on protecting labor in digital content production, the platform aims to prevent unauthorized use by registering the initial usage rights of content.
Crowdfunding Support for Local Software Özgür Eralp, Founder of TrinkFon, stated that TimWeb reaching its target fund in a short time is a concrete example of the crowdfunding approach.
Eralp emphasized the importance of local software producing global-standard solutions being financed by local investors, noting that such investments play a critical role in Turkey's technological future.
Highlighting the power of spreading capital to the base, Eralp added that they are determined to grow local technology with the public's own equity.
Copyrights and Legal Basis Attorney Cüneyd Altıparmak, Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Internet Media Union (TİMBİR) and President of the Secure Internet Media Center (GİMER), emphasized that TimWeb provides a legal basis for the questions of "who produced the news and when" in digital publishing.
Altıparmak noted that the system does not only perform detection but also offers a solution mechanism covering mediation, arbitration, and litigation processes against rights violations.
