A major highlight of the summit was the GAM3 Awards 2024 ceremony, where Off The Grid, developed by Gunzilla Games, emerged as a top winner.
While Parallel secured three awards, Pixels and Pirate Nation each took home two, signaling a new level of quality and innovation in the Web3 gaming sector.
These results underscore the rapid evolution of blockchain-based titles in terms of gameplay and technical excellence.
Content Creators and Educational Approaches The summit demonstrated that content creators are no longer just broadcasters but strategic educators who bridge the gap between complex blockchain technologies and the general public.
YellowPanther, who won the "Creator of the Year" award, emphasized that this field has evolved into a professional career path combining technical knowledge with creativity.
The CreatorDEN program, launched by WolvesDAO, further contributed to the professionalization of the ecosystem by providing training and accommodation support to 15 content creators, helping them refine their roles within the industry.
Industry Collaborations and Social Impact As part of the MatchPlay event, approximately 70 content creators met with major projects such as Pixelmon, TRALA LAB, and MapleStory to explore new collaboration opportunities.
This networking initiative aimed to strengthen the ties between developers and the communities that drive game adoption.
Another notable moment was the premiere of the documentary "Metaverse Filipino Worker" (MFW).
The 38-minute film illustrated how Web3 gaming creates new economic opportunities for Filipino players through roles such as community management, esports captaincy, and guild leadership, highlighting the real-world social impact of the digital economy.
